The North Carolina Azalea Festival is an annual community festival in Wilmington, North Carolina, NC's largest festival of its kind. The festival offers an array of fun, family-friendly events to help celebrate Spring ‘Southern Style” in this famous Wilmington tradition.
The North Carolina Azalea Festival is excited to announce the 74th Queen Azalea, the Azalea Festival Princess, and Invited Guests of the 2021 Azalea Festival. The Festival President, Deirdre McGlone-Webb, says, “It is exciting to highlight our guests who all have ties to the beautiful city of Wilmington." The 2021 Azalea Festival is set for April 7-11 with the largest of the events scheduled for August. The streets will be filled with joy and culture, and it is the perfect place to bring friends or family!

Light House Beer and Wine Festival
Planning a get away to Wilmington in October? Be sure to check the date for this awesome festival. The festival recently changed locations and is now hosted and the brand new and outdoor pavilion along the famous Wilmington Riverwalk. Sponsored by neighboring businesses', come out and enjoy small bites and tasty sips, all while enjoying the fresh October air. Enchanted Airlie is a holiday tradition hosted at the Airlie Gardens, a 67-acre public garden in Wilmington, North Carolina. Since 2005, people from around the world have been visiting this enchanted experience from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Come watch as serious kite flyers share their sky art at the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area for the Annual Cape Fear Kite Festival. This is the final kite event of the season with more than just your average kites filling the sky on the seashore.
