This popular 761 acre park includes a Visitor's Center and marina/fuel dock accessing some of North Carolina's best fishing spots. The Marina features an accessible fishing deck. Explore 8.5 miles of hiking along 9 trails (2 trails are wheelchair accessible), 1 mile of biking, and secluded campsites beneath towering trees with the option of tent adventures or cabins sleeping up to six people. Make sure to check out all the wild Venus Fly Traps on the side of the trails! Cabins are outfitted with double beds, bunk beds, heating/air conditioning, electrical outlets and more. Conveniently located near the Park's entrance, the Visitor Center/Exhibit Hall is also wheelchair accessible with exhibits and videos. Rangers hold regularly scheduled educational hikes and programs.

Arrowhead Park is a recently renovated park located in Southern New Hanover County. The park includes many features open for visitors including a picnic shelter with seating for thirty-six, restrooms, two tennis courts, and a full basketball court. The multi-purpose field is great for practice and game-use, and the 18-hole disc golf course is perfect for both beginners and experienced players. The park also features a Gaga Ball Pit and an updated playground - great spaces for kids to play.

Located off Blue Clay Road, the Blue Clay Bike Park is home to approximately eight miles of trails suitable for all levels of cyclist. It is the most extensive bike trail in New Hanover County and has recently undergone updates to improve the park.

Greenfield Park’s 250 acres are filled with biking and walking trails along Greenfield Lake. Featuring two unlit tennis courts, the Greenfield Grind Skate Park, Outdoor Amphitheater, and Boat and Kayak Rentals. Greenfield Park is also a year round birding oasis within busy downtown Wilmington. Other park amenities include restroom facilities, water fountains, age and ability specific playgrounds, picnic shelters, grills, and an accessible fishing dock. This is the perfect place to spend any day of the year enjoying nature with family and friends.

Located in the middle of the Fitness Loop (a two-and-a-half-mile paved walking and running path), in Wrightsville Beach Park has two outdoor basketball courts, four tennis courts, pickelball courts, three sand volleyball pits, one softball field, an open area for soccer/flag football, a meeting and recreation room, the Loop as well as a new all-inclusive playground geared towards children with disabilities.

Located in central New Hanover County, a brief drive from historic downtown and UNCW, this offers six picnic shelters for parties, picnics and reunions, as well as, a beautiful garden area with a pond and gazebo which can be reserved for wedding ceremonies or photos and an outdoor special event rental space. Athletic facilities include four Little League baseball fields with lights, four lighted tennis courts, a sand volleyball court and full-size basketball court with lights. The park also has an off-leash dog park, equestrian ring, exercise station, fully-accessible playground and splashpad and a 1.55 mile paved walking trail. Park hours are 8am-10pm.
